Join us at the Lewis Park Shelter for our English Village Mysteries event to celebrate the return of our monthly Mystery Book Club!
Helene Androski is a retired Senior Academic Librarian from Memorial Library at UW-Madison who remains very active with the Wisconsin Library Association. Further, she is known for her wonderful UW-Madison Continuing Studies History & Mystery classes. Helene will use Murder at the Vicarage by Agatha Christie as the standard to outline the components of the classic English village mystery. She'll then compare G. M. Malliet's Wicked Autumn and Val McDermid's A Place of Execution against that standard.
We will have copies of each book available to check out from the library in August, but feel free to read ahead! Murder at the Vicarage and Wicked Autumn are available in Overdrive, too.
Lewis Park is located at 5012 Highland Drive, McFarland, WI 53558. Everyone is welcome!
