Most of these are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and cannot be placed on hold, with the exception of the Watts Up Energy Meter. - Birding Backpacks
We have 4 Birding Backpacks available. Each backpack includes 2 pairs of binoculars and several birding guides. Backpacks were made possible through generous donations to the McFarland Bird Festival team in the 2023 Great Wisconsin Birdathon. Limit 1 backpack per household at a time. - Board Games
Find a wide selection of board games for children and teens/adults. The children's board games are located on top of the early reader shelves. The teen/adult games are on a cart between the young adult area and the music CDs. Please return directly to our library and not other system libraries. 14 day checkout. No holds.
- Playaway Launchpads
These kid-friendly tablets are pre-loaded with a variety of educational games, apps, and content with no need for wifi. Kits include a durable protective bumper and USB charging cord. Find our available Launchpads in the children's area on top of the early reader shelves. 14 day checkout. No holds.
- Puzzle Exchange
Take and leave puzzles from our exchange (no check out required!) and work on a rotating community puzzle. Our puzzle collection is located between the patron internet computers and our patron hold shelves.
- State Park Passes
A limited number of one-day, one-vehicle Wisconsin state park passes are available free to valid library cardholders through the Check Out Wisconsin State Parks At Your Library program. Stop by our main desk to check out a pass.
- You must select a date (up to a 3-day range) for your park visit. You don't have to specify a park, and the pass can be used at multiple parks on the date specified on the pass.
