Guided Bird Walks & Bird-a-thon

Join Shawn Miller and Heidi Cox on a Guided Bird Walk! The walks will take place on Wednesday, May 7 (at Indian Mound Park) and Wednesday, May 14 (at Orchard Hill Park), from 7-9 AM. Registration is required and will be available starting April 22.

Join birders Shawn Miller & Heidi Cox on an early morning walk through the Indian Mound Conservancy.  See which birds you can spot and identify!  Bring binoculars, wear good walking shoes, and dress appropriately for the weather.  

Space is limited, registration is required and opens end of April:

McFarland birders Shawn Miller and Alex Arnold are participating in the 2025 Great Wisconsin Bird-a-thon on Saturday, May 17th.  They are raising funds for a new Purple Martin House and for replacing a damaged house.
